A blog by Vintage Deli - Charity Events

Vintage Deli Supporting Local Charities in Style

Vintage Deli have been super busy for the past month attending Charity Fairs all over Norfolk. Sorry for the lack of new Vintage Gems on the Website but they will be coming. This has been a little more important and our charity fairs have been a huge success raising money for Children with Leukamia, Little Owls School in Rudham, Quidenham Childrens Hopice and still more to come.  Will keep you updated.

So we have MASSES and MASSES of new stock to tickle and tease your taste buds this Winter. We attempted a little photo-shoot in our gorgeous 16th Century Barn where we will be having a last minute Christmas shopping day on Sunday 20th December. Everyone is welcome to join us for mince pies and mulled wine. This little event will raise money for Grimston Primary School - Save our School Fund.

Vintage Deli Clothing will be offering - Vintage Designer, Vintage High Street, Vintage Couture and Well Worn Wonderfully Priced Vintage Clothing & Accessories                   Jo Martinez Jewellery - Stunning Silver and Gold Jewellery with Precious Stones and Refurbed Vintage.                                            Green East will be offering Natural Beauty Products and Eco-Friendly everyday products.                                             Nags Essentials will be offering clothing from Joules and all your horsey needs for Christmas and MUCH MORE

1950's Army Jacket This fitted jacket houses it's original metal mesh shoulders and beautiful buttons, spotless both internally and externally, she's extremely hard to part with. Size 10

Another little gem that's just hit the website is this stunning 50's feather hat. The plentiful colours and beautiful shape is enough to brighten up any outfit with some pure chic style.
The Vintage Teal Drivers that scream comfort cute are another favourite here and perfect for the coming months. Light yet warm they are a perfect fit and can be worn for ANYTHING, well i would, don't need a reason.

This Stunning early 70s Poncho Cape is another favorite that has just hit the website and we are struggling to part with her too.

Blog By Vintage Deli - Bugger The Brick Wall

I seem to have a brick wall when it comes to writing a blog, press release, anything really to do with writing niggles my insides and I put it off. Time to fight my fears and just write, using those such as Boris Johnson and the old Duke as my inspiration, many a blunder and still loved by most.

So.... Whilst traipsing through high street shops, magazines and the net, looking at all this seasons styles I jump for joy with the knowledge that the entire contents of my shop are totally relevant and obviously all one offs that will knock the socks off most of the third world slave produce on the high street floors and ours being, ethically sound, unique in pattern and tailored to the highest standards i feel safe in the knowledge that the past year has been well spent producing what I proudly present to you VINTAGE DELI.

In my lovely little shop I have all of this seasons must haves, pieces that are bang on trend and other bits which I reckon has set the trend for spring summer 2010 and then some. My friends and I always use to giggle that the bloody fashion industry had been stalking us again and all the following seasons must haves we’d already worn out and onto the next. Confidence comes in numbers though doesn't it!!!! Altogether we are charleys angels, alone, hiding behind my screen and talking through the monitor mask that has become so familiar to me.

A Few Vintage Events To Watch Out For-
Vintage Deli will be at the next Vintage Lover Fair at Sussex Barn, Burnham Market, Norfolk. Sunday 29th November
Norwich - Cold War- The Bo Nanafana Social-ist Club
Dublin - Dublin Vintage Fair and Ball
