So we were looking for something a little pretty, a little dark, a little cultured to portray the variations in fashion through the ages & how they blossom through into todays trends.
All of the outfits in this shoot are VINTAGE -
The Very Best in Tailored Clothes
They really did know how to make clothes, they had the time & skills to produce works of art & not mass produce copies like today.

On a crappy day in the depth of Norfolk we found the perfect inspiration from the neatly preened gardens to the wild and vocal forests.
We hope you ENJOY

Vintage Deli's Brand New Look

Over the last week we have been shaking things up here in Burnham Market and giving our lovely Vintage Deli Boutique a glamorous new look. It has been a lot of hard work, but we are so happy with the final outcome we can't stop smiling!

In the back room we have retained the cosy, quirkiness of Vintage Deli and filled it with warm winter jumpers and accessories. The biggest transformation can be seen in the main room, with new rails, displays and a fresh coat of paint it couldn't look more different.

Another change that we are very excited to announce is the long awaited addition of a Menswear section. No more moaning from those reluctant boyfriends and husbands, now they can shop too. With a stunning range of coats, jumpers and scarves and much more, they will be more than happy to browse.

If you are looking for an excuse to come and see the changes and do a bit of shopping then why not pop down on Friday 2nd December for a night of 'Masterpieces, Mulled Wine and Mince Pies'. A wide selection of independent boutiques in Burnham Market will be opening late until 7pm to help you get your christmas shopping done.

What better way to enjoy the Christmas lights than with a glass of mulled wine, some mince pies and some shopping?

A Vintage Halloween

Happy Halloween to all of you vintage lovers out there!

What has everyone got planned for this evening then? Hopefully you all have your pumpkins carved, your sweets stocked up and your creepy decorations at the ready for those spooky trick or treaters that will be appearing at your doors this evening.

But, the question is, have you got your outfits?? Now we know that not everyone likes to wear the fake blood, vampire teeth and ripped shirts, but who's to say you have to? Androgynous Beauty

This is boyfriend chic at its best!

We love the androgynous trend this season. Boyfriend blazers, tuxedos, wide leg trousers matched with crisp white shirts, we just can't get enough of it all! And apparently neither could Katy Perry on last night's XFactor!

We adore how she's glammed this boyish trend up with her pink, vintage inspired hairstyle and stunning pink lipstick combined with her striking dark eyes. She has even thrown in a glitter ball microphone! She couldn't be further from looking masculine while keeping perfectly with the current androgynous trend!

Here at Vintage Deli we have plenty of Vintage beauties that you could choose from to keep up to date with this amazing trend. Like this gorgeous Vintage Tux Suit and Tux Blazer!

Take a look at our website or come and browse our Burnham Market Boutique to see what androgynous gems you might find amongst our collection of blazers, shirts, ties, bow-ties, bowler hats and more!

Keeping Cosy At Vintage Deli

So Autumn is now officially upon us and after those glorious few days at the beginning of October we're really feeling the chill. But we're not complaining just yet. Here at Vintage Deli we love the season changes because it can only mean one thing... a whole new wardrobe! We've been finding out our fur coats and our wooly jumpers with much joy. Our Boutique is currently adorned with lots of cosy hats, scarves, gloves and anything snuggly that we think you might enjoy. Our jumper box is overflowing with the chunkiest knits you could image and with a very chilly November on the horizon, we think they're going to be much appreciated. Take a look at our Winter Holidays section of the Vintage Deli Website to see what you can find to keep you warm this winter. Here are just a few of our favourites right now!

We're working on lots of different projects right now too, that will all be revealed in due course, so keep your eyes peeled for anything new and exciting that we might be doing.

Stay warm and we hope to see you in our Burnham Market Boutique soon!

Mixing It Up For A/W 11

The Team at Vintage Deli are sad to see the end of summer drawing ever closer. We feel we were slightly cheated out of the scorcher we hoped for (But there may still be time!). We've had lots of rain, lots of wind but, as cheesy as it sounds, loads of fun! And even though we'll miss the festivals, electric fashion, BBQs and beach fun, we are definitely excited about the prospect of Autumn/Winter!

Autumn in my opinion, is the best time of year. Clear skies and crisp weather really do it for me and the autumnal colours are just gorgeous!! Expect to see lots of country inspired fashion this coming season. Think tweeds, leathers, feathers and wools in an array of natural browns, greens and beiges.

Mix and match pieces too!
We want to see sequins with fur, with polka dots, with leather, with tartan, with chunky knits! It's all about imagination and having the confidence to try out new looks and styles. A/W 11 is looking pretty fun to us right now!

Here is one of our styling ideas to get your juices flowing. Add some thick woolen tights and leather boots for a sophisticated, on trend style!
Light Mink Crop With Red Polka Dot
Day Dress And Feather Embellished Hat

Trends are also going to be looking towards 60s Chic and 40s Elegance for A/W 11 so make sure you come to our Burnham Market Boutique or visit our online boutique to guarantee yourself those original vintage beauties that will keep you on trend and stylish throughout the coming season.

Also, check out Vintageshops online to find the best Vintage stores around! Simple!
